So many Bubbles!


After fighting with the player controller, I finally got to working on the Bubble mechanic. The original idea was to have the player go INTO the bubbles and use them kind of like moving platforms. While inside they could recharge their flying ability. But after getting the physics I wanted it was much more interesting to bounce off the bubbles. So now I'm going in that direction.

(Also, if you're wondering why the character is a little red guy still it's because I haven't worked on his sprite yet. Plan to make him a bee at some point).

So now I was going to work on enemies but I think I'll skip that and get right to the next part of the game loop, making it from flower to flower by floating and bubbling. The idea is that you carry pollen from one flower to the next and doing so gets you a bee point. You can do this for as long as you like but the more advance goal is getting a streak of points without plummeting to your doom or getting hit by a Wasp.
